Jon Fosse’s writing is characterized by a constant return to turmoil that often associated with traumatic events in the past. His literary figures seem be trapped their painful memories. The very cause or starting point of trauma remains hidden unsaid. novel Closed Guitar from 1985 about Liv, young single mother who locks herself out her apartment where one-year-old son is. In novel, we follow thoughts lonely person closed as much inside outside. main character undergoes mental journey into past and tossed back forth between autobiographical memories hallucinations.
